Patrick Mamou Mani
Vice President
Throughout his career, Patrick Mamou Mani has held financial and business development responsibilities within international companies, which has led him to take a strong interest in issues of access to economic opportunity in emerging economies. Born in an emerging country and raised in a family of educators, he became early on aware of the essential role of education in enabling individuals to develop their talents in a spirit of respect and cooperation.
Having been involved for many years in educational support initiatives for children from disadvantaged backgrounds, he now brings his expertise and experience to Graines de Paix as Vice President.
I joined Graines de Paix convinced by the relevance of its action within the educational community, particularly in a context where growing numbers of children and young people are left to themselves. At a time when social media increase the risks of manipulation and stigmatization for the most vulnerable, Graines de Paix equips teachers and students with tools to foster dialogue, cooperation and peaceful relationships. It demonstrates how education can play a central role in strengthening social cohesion and peace.
