Sabaïna Adeleke Gbaguidi
Program Officer
A primary school inspector, Sabaina Omonyéni Adeleke Gbaguidi worked for many years as a teacher before taking on various responsibilities within the Beninese education system, including roles as a school principal, educational advisor and member of national technical teams. She holds a master’s degree in sociology, professional diplomas in training and management, and is currently pursuing a second master’s degree in the sociology of education.
Trained in the culture of peace in Benin and internationally, she has devoted her career to improving the quality of education, promoting gender equality and defending human rights. Committed to sustainable development, she is also the founder of the Association des Femmes pour le Développement Durable (AFDD).
Today, she puts her expertise at the service of Graines de Paix Benin as Program Officer, contributing to the development and implementation of educational programs and resources.
My experience with Graines de Paix has strengthened my skills in peace education and active pedagogy. GdP’s vision of education without violence, learning without fear and harmonious living together is a force for transforming practices and revealing the human values in everyone. I fully subscribe to these ideals, convinced that they can contribute to a fairer, more peaceful world.
