Chabi Ouorou Moumouni
Training Manager
Chabi Ouorou Moumouni trained at the École normale des instituteurs, then obtained his Certificat d’aptitude aux fonctions de conseiller pédagogique (CAF/CP), and held a number of positions of responsibility within the Beninese education system. After heading a school district, he was deputy head of the Nursery and Primary Education Service for the Borgou and Alibori departments, before retiring.
Today, he puts his expertise at the service of Grains of Peace Benin, where he has been in charge of training since the Foundation’s arrival in the country. Fascinated by the culture of northern Benin – tales, proverbs, games and local traditions – he contributes to the development of teaching resources integrating both Grains of Peace approaches and the cultural realities of his native region.
Convinced of the relevance of Grains of Peace’s educational approach, I am committed to promoting it in Benin and beyond. My ambition is that, when the time comes to take stock of the Foundation’s actions around the world, my contribution will be part of the lasting legacy it leaves behind.
