Delia Mamon

Delia Mamon founded Graines de Paix in Geneva in 2005, driven by the conviction that education must reconnect human values with a culture of peace. Observing that traditional educational approaches were struggling to address contemporary challenges—such as school violence, emotional vulnerability and the complexities of living together in multicultural societies—she set out to develop a pedagogy that strengthens both the mind and essential life skills, while cultivating peace-oriented mindsets.

A pedagogical innovator, Delia Mamon has developed interactive methods that foster dialogue, reflection, cooperation and emotional regulation, strengthening academic success, student well-being and classroom cohesion. She has led the development of educational manuals, experiential learning resources and teacher training programs designed to improve classroom climate and learning outcomes.

Under her leadership, Graines de Paix has become a recognized leader in educational transformation in Switzerland and internationally. She has signed ministerial agreements in Côte d’Ivoire and Benin, and her work has been recongnized with several international distinctions, including the Leaders for Peace Foundation ‘s Smart Peace Prize (2019) and the UNESCO-Hamdan Prize for Innovative Education. She is also an Ashoka Impact laureate (2014).

Prior to Graines de Paix, she founded and chaired the iNFOMEDIS Foundation, dedicated to the creation of the Explorapark on biosciences and health. Prior to this, she led an international career in strategic marketing for high technology, notably at Honeywell Europe, where she was awarded the Prix du Président, after working as an economist at the OECD. She holds degrees in political economy (Université Panthéon-Sorbonne, ENA preparation course) and languages and political philosophy (Université Paris-Sorbonne). Having lived in six countries and spoken several languages, her work is rooted in an intercultural and humanist perspective.
