Delia Mamon
President
Driven for many years by the challenges of peace and education, Delia Mamon founded the NGO Graines de Paix in Geneva in 2005, which became a Foundation in 2021 and which she now chairs. She has developed an innovative educational approach rooted in a culture of peace, life skills, inclusion and the personal development of both students and educators.
Trained as an economist and educated in languages and political philosophy, she pursued an international career in high-tech marketing strategy, after working as an economist at the OECD.
Education must go far beyond instruction. It should awaken learners, strengthen their human and social skills, and cultivate reciprocity and respect. In a world where fear and violence increasingly permeate both classrooms and society, education must become a force for harmony, trust, emotional resilience and peace.
