Luc Koffi
Co-Director – Head of Educational Exhibits and Programmes
With a master’s degree in corporate law, Luc Kouakou became involved in community life at an early age, notably as a founding member of the NGO “Droits Pour Tous” and as a scout leader in charge of youth education. This hands-on experience reinforced his belief in the essential role of education in personal development, social integration and community cohesion.
He then joined Graines de Paix, first as a teacher trainer in Côte d’Ivoire, and later as a program assistant and head of educational exhibits. This progression enabled him to develop in-depth knowledge of local educational contexts and peacebuilding needs. He now serves as Co-Director in charge of educational exhibits and programmes, contributing to partnerships development, fundraising and programme impact monitoring. He also supports the design of new projects in line with the organization’s global and national strategies.
I am convinced that education is not only the key to knowledge, but also the foundation upon which lasting peace, responsible citizenship and mutual respect are built. Without it, society becomes rudderless, vulnerable to ignorance and intolerance.
