Graines de Paix implements Children’s Rights in schools

Graines de Paix enables teachers to teach children’s rights to pupils from 4 to 12 years old through experiential activities with the Growing up in peace collection, school exhibitions (Neither Hedgedog, Nor Doormat and Leon and his emotions), and posters.

The NGO actively works with Government Agencies and departments of education in order to implement, inside the classroom and out, through its trainings of inspectors, school counselors and educators, the following children’s Rights:

The following rights are to be implemented in schools:

  • The Right to live in peace - in the classroom, in schools, and in life
  • The Right to a quality education, which also teaches living in peace
  • The Right to be safe from all kinds of violence
  • The Right to be protected from all sorts of discrimination
  • The Right to express one’s opinion, and for it to be taken into consideration
  • The Right to access information needed to be in good health, and to specific care in case of a handicap.
